We took a walk down to the playground a week and a half ago. Notice how empty the playground was. Weekends here are usually a hotbed of activity, but not that day. It was all of 9am and I guess we missed the rush. We had a good time and were able to spend some time climbing up and down the slide and running around.
Thank you to Emily’s mom, Robin, for putting up with Reagan for a while on Saturday morning. We played our annual Ohio Day softball games and it worked out that Tim and I were on the field at the same time. Reagan and Robin seemed to have a great time together and we really appreciate her help. Thank you, also, to Emily’s bro, whose name escapes me at the moment, who kept the book for the game.
We beat Ohio State, but lost to Ohio U on Saturday. Xavier is next up this coming Friday. If we win, there will be a tie between us, OSU, and OU, who will all have won 2 games. If we lose, I won’t care as much, but I guess OSU will take it.
Reagan got an awesome pink play stroller for her birthday while we were in Huron. She really liked it there, and she’s loving it at home. She loves giving Violet a ride and especially loves when Violet wears the beads as a necklace.
Upstairs has a bit more space to run it back and forth, so that’s where we’ve been playing.
I know, I know, she has no pants on. I haven’t done laundry since we got back and she doesn’t have any clean pj shorts… maybe tonight. And, I’m not sure why she’s so into the pacifier these days. She doesn’t use them for soothing, just pulls them out of the cabinet and likes to play with them. It’s pretty funny to see her with one in her mouth, because she hasn’t used one in so long. I guess it’s good to chew on, especially with her molars on their way in.
Finally finished our book from our trip to France and Switzerland. Well, I thought I could share the book online, but I'm not interested in starting another site (Shutterfly share), so we'll have to get together once it's in, if you'd like to see it.
It was barely more than a month ago and she seems so much bigger already.
This girl is a crazy sleeper these days. It’s taking her a little while to calm down and get to sleep. Once she does fall asleep, she gets herself in these crazy positions and has been holding on to the bars. Even if you move her hands, she quickly grabs them again!
So, I was thinking about what I might post from our week (for Tim and Reagan) and long weekend (me). We took pictures on a few different cameras this weekend, but I only brought the point and shoot upstairs right now, so the beach pictures are it.
Even though Tim and Reagan got to Huron on Sunday afternoon and I didn’t arrive until Thursday night, the first day Reagan got to the beach (I think) was Friday. These are from Saturday once Tim was able to pull himself away from working.
We found cousin Sophie and Ben enjoying the water when we arrived.
We had fun digging in the sand, splashing in the water, and relaxing.
And, we had some fun floating on the “quad”opus with cousins Tyler and Jenna.
