What a Week!

We had quite a week - It was my first full week back at Georgetown and Tim had his shoulder surgically repaired on Monday. He had a SLAP tear, among other issues. Everything was fixed and cleaned up and now he will be in a sling for 4-6 weeks. Physical therapy has already started and will continue for quite a few months. We're starting to figure how much he can and can't do. He can push the stroller with no problem and changed his first diaper for the week last night.

We took a quick trip to the "new" Eastern Market on Saturday, which reopened this summer after a fire last year.

And, we're almost finished with Reagan's room. We put the crib together the weekend before Tim's surgery. Reagan must be quite pleased to have a bed that she actually fits in, since she's outgrown the bassinet. She has slept 8+ hours the last few nights and is getting into a better nap routine.

Waiting...

for my buddy, Jack.
Reagan and Jack will share a nanny 3 days a week, so we picked up this cool stroller for them to ride around in together. Reagan got to go for a test drive around the house by herself.

Evening Exercise

This is my first experiment with actually posting video...

Reagan was having a bit of fun playing on the floor tonight.

Headbands

When Reagan was born (while we were literally still in the delivery room), Tim was not only excited to have a girl, but ready to make her "girly". Now, even though she has so much hair and a ton of pink clothes and blankets, some people still can't tell that she's a girl. So, I've been looking for fun hair accessories and finally found some today.

Spa Baby

Reagan has gotten much better about bath time - especially compared to the first bath we gave her. If you remember, she didn't particularly care for that bath. Now, she has gotten used to the water and really enjoys being in the water. Sometimes the drying off part can be tough, but we're working on that, too. She's quickly getting to be too big for a bath in the sink, since she kicks her legs so hard and comes close to banging her head. It took us a few tries, but now she loves here awesome tub, the Spa Baby! (Thanks, Charles)

See how much fun it is...

Another Boyfriend

So, Tim and I have a bunch of friends with little boys right around Reagan's age. Reagan and I took a trip from Atlantic City to Surf City on Long Beach Island to visit with Collette and baby Brayden. Brayden was born on April 19, so he has a few pounds on her, but she's catching up quickly!

It was a great afternoon to catch up, check out the Surf City beach, and see Collette's beach house.
