Sometimes we have to resort to taking funny pictures of ourselves to make it through the commute...

Lots going on…

It has been crazy, crazy around here and we have another month until we can settle back down into a good routine. We’ve been to the beach 4 times (well, the final trip starts in the morning), have had some awesome family visiting time, and our annual alumni softball tournament in the midst of all that.

The last trip was cousin’s weekend in Huron and it was awesome. We really have lucked out with the wonderful weather we’ve had (which, I guess, is fairly predictable, given the current heat and drought affecting the country).

They even played on the swings together for a while. 

Awesome trip, great to hang out with everyone, but a pretty lousy drive home. It’s just far enough that it might be too far to drive right now. Either that, or we need some other car entertainment that does not involve mom sitting squished between car seats in the back!

Headed Home

Had a great few days in Huron and we're all barely tolerating the drive home. Shouldn't be too much longer.
