Today I got a red snapper from eastern market and cooked it, whole, on the grill. The kids love it - both the taste and the presentation. The title of this post is a direct quote from Reagan after she touched the cooked fish's eye. I caught Quinley investigating after we eat (she laughed out loud after this picture).

First day of school

Today was Quinley's first day of school. Here she is with her new classmates.

She Drives a Hard Bargain

Reagan: Can I be excused (from the dinner table)?

Dad: No, first you have to eat two more bites.

Reagan: One more bite.

Dad: Two more bites:

Reagan: No, one more bite.

Dad: Three more bites.

Reagan: Four more bites.

Dad: Okay.

(She eat four more bites with a smile and cleared her plate).
