We were riding the bus to work/school today and Reagan looked down at my hands and asked about a freckle. I told her what it was. She gave a quick glance down to her hands and arms, decided she had none of her own, and said, “I’m just plain.”

Happy 9 Months!

I seriously don’t know where the days and months have gone, but we’re here… three quarters of the way through your first year.

You are the happiest, most smiley baby and love to laugh, especially at your big sister. You are everywhere and into everything. You are getting to be an expert crawler and you stand up every chance you get. Though you don’t go near them very often, you can almost make it up a few stairs on your own. I don’t know where you learned all of these awesome skills, but probably from your big sister, because you love watching her and getting into anything she has (no, she doesn’t love that). And, you are a big fan of any music and you’re always dancing.

Hirshhorn Museum

In a potential disaster of an activity, I took the girls out for a quick trip to the Hirshhorn to see an exhibit that I had seen was quite kid friendly. We drove down to the Mall and wandered towards the museum.

We found some tulips along the way and had a little impromptu photo session.

Then, we got to the museum and the exhibit I heard about and played in the blue streamers for a while.

We missed most of the other installations in the exhibit, but I think it would be worth a trip back.

Happy Easter!

We didn’t have many plans for the weekend, a day off school on Friday, so the girls and I had a quiet day and then we took a quick trip to a museum in the afternoon. Saturday, Reagan and I dyed Easter eggs before everyone else woke up.
